Last ran winner, who showed excellent form in a Sha Tin 1400m run three weeks ago. He tracked the leaders throughout and managed to regain some ground in the closing stages to win. In a subsequent Sha Tin 1600m trial, this was his first attempt at this distance. For this race he is carrying seven extra pounds, which slightly disadvantages him against the field. The jockey and trainer's combination is not ideal, but if he adopts a stalking running style, his late burst of speed is among the strongest in the group and his recent timing has been decent, making him a potential upset contender.
