Trial on 12/6 (Conghua turf barrier trial over 1200m: 10-10-7) showed a lack of early speed, tracking the main pack. Five weeks ago in a similar race, he performed poorly, slow to break from the stalls and stayed back. His pace was average throughout, gradually closing in towards the finish. A recent trial showed he didn't exert himself fully. Despite being grouped with horses at a different pace, the form hasn't shown strong synergy, and jockey-trainer cooperation isn't standout. However, given his ability to stay back and a strong finishing kick within the group with favorable draw, he should not be overlooked.
