Five weeks ago in the same race, he performed excellently; though slow to exit the gate and held up towards the rear, he progressed steadily along the way, gradually regaining lost ground in the final stages, challenging strongly to finish second. Fortunately, he was not too far behind, losing only two and a half lengths. A trial run showed slight improvement. The timing performance is acceptable; he needs to track from the rear, and his finishing kick within this group is strong. He is rated among the top contenders for this race, with the jockey showing some understanding of the horse's temperament and a strong rapport with the trainer. Training is proactive, making him a key contender.
