Four weeks ago in a race run concurrently, he performed excellently, tracking the leaders and maintaining his position steadily throughout, recovering significant ground in the final stages. He finished second, beaten only a half-length—a high standard of ability was shown. Having completed one trial run, he still needs more work. With three wins in 27 starts, his class is comparable to the field; the draw is ideal, and the jockey/trainer cooperation remains smooth. Even if he needs to carry two extra pounds in this race, the form isn't overly advantageous, and his finishing kick is slightly lacking, he might still be competitive.
