Ran a dirt trial 1200m on 25/6 (dirt trial 1200m: 7-7-3), selecting the straight line and accelerating forward automatically. Four weeks ago, in a race over the same course, the horse performed excellently, staying on strongly; it was consistent throughout and gradually regained ground in the final stages to finish second, beaten only half a length, demonstrating high class. A recent trial showed slight improvement. The time was respectable, and the late speed in this group is superior; the jockey/horse pairing is satisfactory. Recent form has been good, so even if this race sees four consecutive defeats and the circumstances are slightly unfavorable, it remains worth considering as a potential contender.
