GO GO GO

Ran a dirt trial 1200m on 22/9 (8-8-4), progressively moved out from the start to accelerate and catch up. Four weeks ago, in a Sha Tin 1600m race on turf, the performance was lackluster; he jumped slowly and stayed behind with a steady pace throughout. The trial run showed an average performance. Returning to dirt over a mile, he needs to carry one extra pound this time. His positioning doesn't look ideal for the race, and his finishing kick hasn't been outstanding. However, given he has prior performance credits and the field time is acceptable, he cannot be overlooked.
