AWESOME FLUKE

Three weeks ago, the horse performed poorly in a Happy Valley mile, exiting slowly and tracking at the back with an even pace throughout; his running style was mediocre. He then switched to a dirt mile, which was his debut over this distance; the trip seemed unsuitable and his sectional times were weak. His finishing kick was not prominent, and there wasn't a strong rapport between the jockey and trainer. Fortunately, he could maintain an advantageous position at the front, giving him a good draw, but he is not selected for this race.
