During the preliminary, J Lloyd was dislodged from FLEET COMMAND. FLEET COMMAND did not break away and was remounted by J Lloyd who suffered a harmless fall. In the run to the turn at the 800 Metre turn, SKYVIEW BAR got its head on the side and hung in. At the 650 Metres, FLEET COMMAND was steadied away from the heels of SKYVIEW BAR. At the 600 Metres, MEDIC POWER, which was racing keenly, was steadied away from the heels of ONE WORLD. In the early part of the Straight, FLEET COMMAND had difficulty obtaining clear running. Apprentice M Chadwick (REGENCY DRAGON) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 200 Metres he failed to take sufficient measures to prevent his mount from shifting in when not clear of FRIENDLY GAINS, causing that horse to be unnecessarily crowded for room and lose the running to which it was rightfully entitled. Apprentice Chadwick was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Monday 6 April 2009 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). The commencement of the suspension was deferred until after the Sha Tin racemeeting next Saturday 28 March 2009. At the 150 Metres, when giving ground, SKYVIEW BAR was steadied away from the heels of FLEET COMMAND. In the Straight, MEDIC POWER hung out. Throughout the race, IRISH JIG travelled wide and without cover. TUSCAN SPIRIT and ONE WORLD were sent for sampling.
