MOONGLOW began awkwardly. Making the first turn near the 850 Metres, GREEN GLORY was checked away from the heels of MOONGLOW. Rounding the Home Turn, SUPER BOBO and MINGS’ HERO bumped as SUPER BOBO shifted out around WINBO. At the 200 Metres, SUPER BOBO when disappointed for clear running was crowded for room between SUPER SURVEYS and MINGS’ HERO, both of which shifted a small amount of ground. When questioned regarding the performance of WINBO, H W Lai stated that the horse did not travel today as he had expected and was most disappointing in its failure to respond to his riding in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of WINBO after the race did not show any significant findings. SUPER SURVEYS, MINGS’ HERO and ANIMATION were sent for sampling.
