GRANDFIELD was withdrawn on 15.11.08 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, GRANDFIELD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. On jumping, TOUCH MORE and FOREST STAR bumped heavily as a result of FOREST STAR shifting ground after being bumped by DIAMOND PRINCE. After the 1100 Metres, DIAMOND PRINCE, which was travelling wide and without cover after initially being ridden to go forward, was steadied and taken back to obtain a position with cover. Approaching the turn at the 800 Metres, HANNAH KING PRAWN and FOREST STAR bumped on several occasions. Near the 700 Metres, BRAVE SPIRIT became unbalanced and bumped the running rail. As a consequence of this, inconvenience was caused to DIAMOND PRINCE, FOREST STAR and HANNAH KING PRAWN. At the 600 Metres, BRAVE SPIRIT again became unbalanced. BIG PROFIT and BIG WINNER AGAIN were sent for sampling.
