Three weeks ago, the horse delivered an excellent performance over a dirt mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the back before finishing with a fast final two sections to secure fourth place. A subsequent trial at Happy Valley over a mile sees the horse racing with a one-pound weight reduction. However, it has failed to perform in five previous attempts over this distance, faces unfavorable timing within its group, and trainer-jockey synergy is lacking. Despite drawing a decent barrier, the jockey doesn’t appear confident in the horse's ability to win this race.
