Horse analysis
On April 8th, a turf trial over 1000m saw the horse maintain a consistent pace throughout, without being fully tested. Two months ago, it ran well over an extended Happy Valley mile, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and making a move in the middle stages. It finished second, beaten by half a length – a respectable performance demonstrating high ability. Following a short break, it underwent one barrier trial but wasn't fully fit. Now debuting at its new stable, it will race over a Happy Valley mile again this time with a 2lb weight reduction. Having previously won twice over this distance and drawing a favorable barrier, the horse has potential for an early lead and appears in good form. Jockey Angus Chung takes the reins, establishing a potentially strong partnership with the trainer who still maintains good communication; however, considering the time difference within the group, aiming for a place is realistic.
