ESCAPE ROUTE

Three weeks ago, this horse performed poorly in a dirt mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. The leader set a strong pace, resulting in a significant defeat. In a subsequent Happy Valley mile trial with a one-pound weight reduction, it didn't show much during the sectional times. This time around, a hold-up tactics is expected but its finishing kick may not be competitive enough against rivals. Despite an advantageous barrier draw, the overall outlook isn’t promising.
