On February 28th, another turf trial at Conghua over 1200m resulted in consistently losing ground throughout and fading towards the finish. Two months ago, during a dirt track race over 1200m, the horse performed poorly, breaking slowly and settling towards the rear with a steady pace but no noticeable kick, ultimately finishing well-beaten. After a short break, two barrier trials were undertaken, but the horse hasn’t reached peak fitness. Making its debut at Happy Valley over 1200m this time with a three-pound weight reduction, the distance is unfavorable and the overall situation appears challenging, though an advantageous barrier draw offers some hope for a win.
