Three weeks ago, this horse delivered a strong performance over Sha Tin 1200m, jumping moderately but finishing with fast sections from the back. He finished within three and a half lengths of the winner, demonstrating good ability. A recent turf trial over 1000m (sections: 7-8-5) saw him maintain a steady pace with an aggressive stride. Now stepping back to Happy Valley over 1200m for his first attempt at this distance, he races without any additional weight. The trip appears suitable and a hold-up tactic utilizing his finishing kick is expected. Trainer and jockey have a reasonable rapport; despite drawing a poor barrier, the horse remains a contender.
