KNOW AT HEART

Three weeks ago (3/4), in a dirt trial over 1200m, the horse showed good early speed for the first two sections before settling quietly and tracking the pace on the straight. Five weeks prior, this horse ran poorly over Sha Tin’s 1200m turf, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with a steady pace but lacking any significant acceleration. A subsequent barrier trial did not show sufficient improvement. Now debuting at Happy Valley over 1200m, needing to carry 14 pounds more this time, the distance appears suitable and drawing a favorable barrier. The tactics will be to settle back in the field, relying on a strong finishing kick which is considered the best among its group, aiming to redeem its previous performance.
