Four weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed well, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a strong move in the middle stages. It finished second to Super Wealthy, beaten by only half a length – a solid performance. This time, it carries only a one-pound increase in weight. Morning trials have been impressive with good speed, and the trainer and jockey are well-matched. The horse is maturing in its work and showing improvement, however, it has drawn a poor barrier which will likely require a hold-up strategy. Its finishing kick may not be as strong as some rivals, making this a challenging race. Best suited as a supporting player.
