Recent trials show this horse recorded (dirt trial 1200m: 3-2-9), tracking the pace in the first two sections before finishing. On March 14th, a Happy Valley turf trial over 1200m saw him urged from the 200m mark but performing below par. Further trials on February 28th (Conghua turf 1200m: 3-3-8) involved settling in a good position before weakening from the 300m mark, and on February 14th (Conghua turf 1200m: 8-8-8) with consistent urging showing some late improvement. A trial on January 24th over Conghua's 1000m saw effortful riding but a poor response, followed by another on March 3rd over 800m where he was held back and not urged. This is the horse’s debut race after arriving in Hong Kong last November and commencing track work. Six barrier trials this season have shown willingness to run with high leg action, but a lack of acceleration. His stamina remains untested; therefore, this first start will be considered a trial run.
