On February 14th, a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m saw the horse running smoothly along the rail in 2nd position for both first and second sections. On February 24th, another turf trial at Conghua over 1200m provided a more serious test which it completed at a steady pace. In March, its Sha Tin 1400m run was satisfactory; despite a slow start and settling towards the back, it made a move in the middle stages but faded near the finish. Returning after a spell, two barrier trials have been undertaken without showing full fitness. Making its Happy Valley debut over 1200m this time with a one-pound weight reduction, the distance appears suitable, and an advantageous barrier draw suggests it could be worth considering as an outsider.
