Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over Sha Tin 1200m, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace but lacking any impressive sections and finishing well-beaten. A recent dirt trial (1200m: 2-2-1) showed some improvement, running strongly to the finish on a straight course. Returning to a 1200m dirt track for its first run back, the horse has a two-pound weight reduction and an outside draw. The plan is to settle back in the field, though finishing speed may not be sufficient to challenge rivals. Despite some previous form over this distance, the competition is relatively close; it's expected to finish respectably but may struggle for a strong placing.
