Five weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over Sha Tin 1400m, jumping slowly and settling towards the back with a consistent pace. He finished sixth, beaten two and a half lengths, responding well when challenged by Romantic Charm. A recent barrier trial showed no improvement. Making its debut on Sha Tin turf over a mile this time without any weight reduction, the distance is unfavorable and the inside draw doesn't fully compensate for needing to run from behind; while possessing a strong finishing kick within the field, it’s considered a trial run only.
