WINNING DRAGON

Two weeks ago, this horse delivered a strong performance over Sha Tin’s 1600m, jumping moderately and settling towards the back before making up ground with fast splits in the final two sections to finish third, beaten by only half a length. A subsequent trial over 1800m at Sha Tin sees the horse race without any additional weight this time, able to secure a good position tracking the leaders from an advantageous inside barrier. The jockey has some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities and enjoys a good rapport with the trainer, showing positive energy. Despite unfavorable competition times within the same group, the horse is expected to demonstrate its true potential.
