Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1600m, tracking the leaders with a steady pace but lacking a strong finish. He finished sixth, beaten three and a half lengths. A subsequent trial over 1800m at Sha Tin sees the horse carrying two pounds less weight, though timing differences within the group were noted. The plan for this race is to settle back in the field, however, his finishing kick isn’t as strong as rivals and the situation appears unfavorable despite having secured three wins over this distance previously. Training has been positive, with the horse showing improved condition and a suitable racing setup.
