On April 14th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m (sections recorded as 7-7-7), maintaining a relaxed pace while circling wide. Four weeks ago, over Sha Tin’s 2000m turf course, the performance was moderate; it jumped slowly and settled towards the back before picking up speed in the final two sections, finishing seventh beaten by two lengths. A subsequent barrier trial did not reveal any improvement. Now debuting after being transferred to Hong Kong, it will race again over Sha Tin’s 1800m turf course with a 5-pound weight reduction. The horse has previous form over this distance and favorable timings within its group; drawing an inside barrier suggests a hold-up strategy utilizing its strong finishing kick – considered the best in its class. With advantageous positioning, the horse's ability makes it a strong contender in this race. Zac Purton takes the ride, creating a well-matched horse-jockey-trainer combination and generating significant interest.
