April 8th, the horse recorded (10-9-8-2) over a turf trial of 1600m, settling towards the rear and finishing with a strong surge after being allowed to run freely at the 200m mark. On March 10th, during a Conghua turf trial over 1600m, it showed a strong finishing kick after being given space at the 300m mark. In a Sha Tin 2000m race in March, performance was below expectations; a slow start saw the horse settle back and quicken over the final two sections. Following a short break, two barrier trials have shown slight improvement. Now stepping up to a Sha Tin 1800m this time with a 9-pound weight reduction, despite some late work, its trial times are not impressive and the overall situation appears unfavorable, suggesting a likely hold-up tactic.
