Three weeks ago, this horse ran at Sha Tin over 1200m, managing to stay near the front and tracking the leaders, but lacked a strong pace and finished second. Switching to dirt over 1200m for its first attempt at this distance, it will carry seven pounds less this time. The distance is expected to suit, and with a good barrier draw offering an opportunity to lead, the horse appears in excellent form. Based on relative ability, it's considered the strongest contender in this race. Trainer and jockey are working well together and have prepared the horse properly; a clean break and intent to take the lead should see it perform well.
