Six weeks ago, this horse ran well on the dirt over 1200m, jumping moderately and settling towards the back before maintaining a steady pace and responding when challenged. A recent turf trial at Conghua over 1000m saw it take an early lead with something left in reserve, finishing first and second in sections. Returning to Happy Valley for its debut run over 1200m, it will carry seven extra pounds this time, which isn't ideal. Despite having some form over this distance and comparable times within the field, a good barrier draw doesn’t guarantee success in this race.
