BIG STRIDE

On April 10th (dirt trial 1200m: 3-4-3), the horse was urged with light riding, making a narrow move up. On March 28th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 6-8-4), it finished strongly in the final section but only maintained its pace. On March 7th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 4-3-4) the horse ran smoothly and showed a decent performance. On February 21st (dirt trial 1200m: 6-6-7), it had an average start, kept pace, and ran normally. On February 4th (dirt trial 1200m: 2-2-7) the horse tracked the leaders in both sections but weakened on the straight. This is its debut run as a new horse; it began training in Hong Kong in mid-October of last year. It has trialed five times this season, showing slight improvement. The horse lifts its legs high when moving and acceleration isn’t particularly strong. It's more suited to 1400m to one mile distances, and while willing to chase, lacks a final surge. This race is treated as another trial; further progress warrants attention.
