Three weeks ago, in a straight course race, the performance was disappointing; a slow start saw it settle towards the back with an even pace but no impressive surge. It finished seventh, beaten three and a half lengths. Returning to Happy Valley for a sprint distance, this time carrying no additional weight, the horse has previous form over this distance. The competition is reasonable and a hold-up tactics utilizing its strong finishing kick could see it as the strongest closer in the field. The barrier draw looks favorable and Zac Purton takes the ride, showing some understanding of the horse's capabilities; trainer and jockey are well aligned with thorough preparation. The horse is now showing good form on the track and appears primed to perform.
