VIEW OF THE WORLD

On April 14th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1050m in sections of 5-5-5, deliberately held back before making a strong surge from off the pace in the final two furlongs. Three weeks prior, it ran at Happy Valley over 1200m with an unsatisfactory performance; a slow start saw it settle towards the rear, but showed a powerful late run. Following a barrier trial where it struggled to keep up with the pace, this will be its debut on the Happy Valley short course. This time, benefiting from a four-pound weight reduction and drawing a favorable barrier, it’s expected to race from behind utilizing its finishing kick, presenting an advantageous situation. Antoine Hamelin takes the ride, demonstrating understanding of the horse's temperament and potential. Despite concerns about this distance not being ideal and a perceived trainer/jockey mismatch, connections believe the true ability of the horse will be showcased.
