A month ago, in a straight course race, the horse performed well despite a slow start, settling towards the rear at a steady pace. It finished third after a strong run by La Estrella, beaten by one and a half lengths. A subsequent trial over a Happy Valley sprint distance sees it with a one-pound weight reduction, but facing a time difference within its group and drawing a poor barrier.
