Three weeks ago (April 17th), this horse recorded a dirt trial over 1050m, moving out after 300m and showing strong strides. Earlier, on April 7th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1000m, he maintained a steady pace with consistent strides. Five weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, he performed well despite a slow start, settling towards the back before finishing strongly in the final two sections. He was beaten by two and a half lengths, finishing fifth. Two barrier trials have shown slight improvement. This time, the horse has a 2lb weight reduction, draws an inside barrier amongst similarly timed rivals, is expected to settle back in the field, and possesses a strong finishing kick within the group. He holds a noticeable advantage in ability compared to other contenders but might not fly.
