ROMANTIC FANTASY

Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse ran respectably. A slow jump led to settling back in the field, but showed a strong finishing effort, beaten two and a half lengths for fifth place. This time, no weight reduction is applied, with an unfavorable set of circumstances and trainer-jockey combination. Despite previous form over this course and distance being reasonable, competition within the group isn’t significantly weaker. Expecting a forward run, benefitting from a good barrier draw and improved synergy between horse and rider. The horse is maturing well in trackwork, showing signs of progress; hoping to finish close.
