Two weeks ago, this horse ran well in a dirt mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before finishing strongly over the final two sections. Switching to a Happy Valley longer distance race for its first attempt at this trip, it will carry a four-pound weight reduction but faces an unfavorable barrier draw and unsuitable distance. Despite needing to settle back early, the horse showed good finishing kick, and should be assessed after one run.
