Four weeks ago in the same distance, it ran respectably, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with a consistent pace. A strong late run secured second place, losing by half a length – a solid effort. Subsequent barrier trial form was adequate. This horse is stepping up in class for this race carrying an 18-pound weight reduction. While it has shown some form over this distance, and its group time isn't significantly slower, drawing a good barrier is positive. Trainer and jockey are working well together and the horse appears to be moving positively, however, it’s likely to settle towards the rear again but may lack the finishing kick of its rivals, making its prospects moderate with hopes for a place."
