He made a strong effort in the middle stages, finishing second by half a length – a narrow defeat demonstrating good ability. This time he carries only a 2lb weight increase. Although successful over this course previously with competitive times, he has potential to lead early. The barrier draw is favorable, and overall shape looks promising. Based on his capabilities, he's the strongest contender in this race and remains a threat.
