RIDING HIGH

On April 25th, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw the horse travel comfortably with a good response to urging from the 300m mark, overtaking rivals. On April 7th, another turf trial over 1000m at Conghua began slowly but maintained pace after light prompting. Two months ago, this horse ran an unremarkable race over a Happy Valley 1200m, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and making a mid-race effort, but failing to sustain it to the finish. Following a short break, two barrier trials have shown slight improvement. Another straight course trial run suggests that with a three-pound weight reduction this time, despite facing comparable times within the group, the horse has the potential to track the pace setters and is well positioned due to its favorable barrier draw.
