On April 25th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse travel comfortably while hugging the rail. Two months ago, this horse delivered a poor performance in a Sha Tin mile race, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear before making a mid-race move which faded significantly resulting in a heavy defeat. Following a short break, a recent barrier trial showed moderate promise. Another turf trial over 1400m followed, and this time the horse will carry one pound less weight while drawing an outside barrier. The plan is to settle towards the rear but finishing kick is unlikely to be strong enough against rivals; despite having some previous form at this distance, its times are not significantly better than those of other horses in this race, making it a difficult prospect."
