Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He made a mid-race effort but failed to close the gap and was well-beaten. Switching to a Sha Tin 1400m now for his first attempt at this distance, he benefits from a four-pound weight reduction. However, the trip is not considered ideal and despite drawing an inside barrier, it’s likely just a trial run.
