Six days ago, in a race over the same distance, the performance was very disappointing; a slow start saw the horse settle towards the rear. Despite an effort to make ground mid-race, it couldn't recover and finished poorly. Racing again within two weeks, this time with a one-pound weight reduction, the horse has failed to win in three attempts over this distance. Facing similar timed horses and drawing an outside barrier presents a disadvantageous situation; chances appear low.
