On April 28th, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw the horse relaxed and with plenty in hand. A recent winner, six weeks ago over the same distance it performed exceptionally well, jumping slowly but settling back before finishing strongly in the final two sections to win comfortably by four lengths. One barrier trial has been completed, though perhaps not fully extended. This race requires a 5lb weight increase; having won twice previously at this distance with good sectionals, and drawing an inside barrier, it is expected to settle back. Its finishing kick is the strongest in the group, holding a favourable position. Based on its ability, this horse is a strong contender in this race, with the jockey possessing excellent knowledge of its temperament and capable of extracting maximum effort; a strong chance for defending the title.
