On April 25th, during a Conghua turf trial over 1200m (sections: 8-7-10), the horse was hampered on the straight and didn’t fully extend. On April 15th in a Conghua turf trial over 1000m (sections: 6-6-6) he remained at the back throughout with limited improvement. Three months ago, in a Sha Tin mile race, he jumped slowly and settled towards the rear, but finished strongly. After a long break, two trials haven’t shown much promise. Another turf trial over 1200m was completed recently, this time with a five-pound weight reduction. The section times of his group were unremarkable; a hold-up tactics are expected, however, his finishing kick is weaker than rivals, and the current form appears unfavorable, despite showing some improvement in trackwork."
