On May 12th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 7-7-6), deliberately held back and settling quietly in mid-division. On April 28th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 800m, it jumped out quickly and maintained a steady pace after a light urging to keep up with the leaders. Three months ago, this horse ran poorly in a dirt mile race, settling forward but lacking a strong finish. After a short break, two barrier trials were undertaken without showing significant improvement. Making its debut on Sha Tin turf over 1200m, it will carry two pounds less this time but faces an unfavorable distance and draws an outside barrier. A weak finishing kick is anticipated, and the trainer-jockey combination hasn’t been strong historically; however, a forward position is expected. With Karis Teetan now aboard, the pairing looks promising and warrants consideration.
