On May 9th, a Happy Valley turf trial over 1200m saw the horse travel at a strong pace to secure a good position. On April 29th, during a dirt trial also over 1200m, it showed limited improvement despite being urged late on. A further dirt trial over 1200m on April 14th involved racing wide throughout and fading down the straight. Earlier on March 28th, in a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m, it displayed only moderate progress when pushed late. On March 13th, a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m saw the horse settling towards the rear and lacking significant threat. This is its debut run as a new arrival. It began training in Hong Kong in early January. Five trials have been undertaken this season with some incremental progress shown. Despite appearing well in morning trackwork, it's not considered a strong contender for this race.
