PERFECT PAIRING

May 20th, dirt trial 1200m (9-9-9), showed moderate effort with a strong push on the straight. Last ran winner three weeks ago over the same distance, performing impressively; slow jump but finished strongly in the final two sections to win easily by one and a half lengths. Trial run lacked significant power. This time requires carrying 5 pounds more weight, has proven record at this distance, good section times within its group, advantageous barrier draw, favorable conditions overall. Relatively stronger compared to other competitors, jockey has some understanding of the horse’s capabilities, strong trainer-jockey rapport, expected to improve further.
