On May 20th (dirt trial 1200m: 8-8-8), the horse was urged from the 300m mark but didn't show its previous form. On April 25th (Conghua turf trial 1600m: 6-6-6-6) it returned towards the rear and wasn’t fully tested. On April 11th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 3-3-6), a few taps were applied on the straight but the performance was unremarkable. Three months ago, in a Sha Tin mile race, the start was slow and it settled back in the field, maintaining a steady pace but lacking a strong finishing burst. Following a short break, three barrier trials have been undertaken with no significant improvement observed. Stepping up in class for this race and returning to Sha tin over 1600m, the horse will carry an 18-pound weight reduction. However, its time difference within the group is unfavorable. Despite having previously secured two wins at this distance, a successful run isn't anticipated.
