Four weeks ago in the same distance race, the performance was below expectations; it jumped slowly and settled towards the rear before making ground with fast sectionals in the final two segments, finishing seven lengths behind in seventh place. A recent barrier trial yielded an unremarkable result. This time, the horse will carry one pound more weight. Although having won twice over this distance previously and recording comparable times within its group, it has drawn a favorable barrier but is expected to settle towards the rear. The finishing kick appears good and the overall shape is positive; this horse possesses clear advantages in this race. The jockey has some familiarity with the horse's capabilities, showing tension and increased gate intensity, however, trainer-jockey synergy seems limited, hoping only to finish close.
