AMAZING VICTORY

Four weeks ago, over Sha Tin 1200m, the performance was poor with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. A steady pace was maintained but lacked any significant acceleration throughout the race. In a subsequent trial at Happy Valley over 1200m, despite a three-pound weight reduction, the sectionals were unremarkable. This time around, a hold-up strategy is planned, however, the finishing kick isn’t expected to be strong enough for victory and the overall situation appears unfavorable despite a decent barrier draw and some late work.
