GLORY CLOUD

On June 10th (dirt trial 1200m: 3-3-3), the horse was held firmly on a short rein and not pushed. In March, over the same distance, it performed satisfactorily, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace, but faced pressure from Last Sun Rising. It finished fifth, beaten two and a half lengths. After a brief rest, it had one barrier trial showing slight improvement. This time carrying a four-pound deduction, despite strong times in its group, drawing a favorable barrier doesn’t guarantee an advantageous position; considered best suited as a supporting horse.
