VICTOR THE RAPID

Two weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over the same distance, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. He finished strongly to secure second place, beaten by half a length. This time he needs to carry five pounds more weight and has drawn a poor barrier. The plan is again to settle back in the field, however, his finishing kick isn't expected to be as strong as some of his rivals, making his chances questionable. Despite similar times within the group, opportunities appear limited.
